How to Play MergeChain
MergeChain is a number-merging drop game. Position numbered balls along the top and release them. When two balls with the same number touch, they merge into the next number (2+2=4, 4+4=8, all the way to 2048). Chain reactions happen when a newly merged ball immediately touches another of the same number — plan your drops to set up chains for massive points. Watch the danger line at the top — if balls stack above it, the game is over. In Time Attack mode, you have 2 minutes to score as high as possible.

How do the physics affect gameplay?
Balls fall with gravity and bounce off the walls, the floor, and other balls. Larger numbers have larger radii, taking up more space and bouncing differently. You can use the bouncy physics to squeeze balls into tight gaps or create chaotic chain reactions!
How is the score calculated?
Every time two balls merge, you earn points equal to the value of the new, larger ball. If the merge triggers a chain reaction (a merge immediately following another), a chain multiplier is applied to the score of the subsequent merges.
What happens if a ball crosses the top line?
There is a danger line near the top of the screen. If a ball rests above this line, a 3-second countdown begins (indicated by a pulsing red border). Merging balls to bring the pile down will stop the timer, but if 3 seconds pass, it's Game Over.
What numbers will drop next?
The next ball to drop is always visible at the top of the screen. The dropped balls will randomly be either 2, 4, or 8, keeping the focus on merging them into larger numbers.
How does the Hint system work?
The 💡 Hint button shows a ghost ball at the optimal drop column. The first hint per session is free. Subsequent hints require watching a reward ad. Hints don't affect scoring since MergeChain uses merge-based scoring rather than efficiency bonuses.
